Grilled Peaches
I know what you’re thinking, it’s not even cherry season yet, why am I already writing a recipe for peaches? I’m thinking the same thing. But I honestly think about these things all the time. They are SO easy to make, and so yummy, you’ll be eating them all peach season long. So, I figure I might as well prepare you for that by telling you how to make them, gotta make sure your grill is ready for all the use it’s about to get!
Okay so your first step for this is to get your hands on some delicious Interwater Farms peaches. If you find us at the farmer’s market, let us know when you’re grilling them and we’ll make sure they’re the perfect ripeness.
Once you’ve got your peaches, you can preheat your grill to a medium heat. It’s really important to make sure your grill is fully heated so that the peaches don’t still to the grates.
While you’re waiting for the grill to preheat, you cancut the peaches in half, and then brush the cut side with some olive oil.
Then, grill them cut-side-down until you start to see grill marks formed. Don’t flip the peaches, because you want them to get juicy but not too mushy.
I love these served as is, but if you want to add a little fun, these pari great with vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, and toasted walnuts!
